Exploring a National Park While Eating Blueberry Pancakes

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend. It was the perfect time to spend a few days with family and friends and for me, a 4 day vacation filled with turkey sandwiches and football.  About 3 weeks back, my homies over at BLVN and I went on a road trip to Bar Harbor, ME, home to Acadia National Park.

Our goal was to catch some fall foliage and amazing landscape shots. Clam chowder was on the agenda as well.  We also discovered a local diner known for their legendary blueberry pancakes, so it was good times to say the least. Below are some photos of the trip so you can relive our journey vicariously through my pictures.

While exploring downtown Bar Harbor we noticed a small diner on the outskirts of town. Jordan’s Restaurant is home to some of the best blueberry pancakes you’ll ever have. Hot and crisp on the outside, moist and fluffy on the inside, these pancakes were bursting with amazing blueberry flavor.

After breakfast, we spent the next 7 hours (and the rest of the weekend) hiking through Acadia covering as much terrain as possible. Looking back, it was an awesome experience. We plan to go back in the Spring/Summer and I suggest you do the same.
